Christmas wish list-ing

My grandmother asked me to put together a Christmas list.  Don’t you just love it when someone does that?!  It gives you full license to put together all the things you’ve been thinking about all year!

Here are a few goodies I’ve come across in my searching, and some of them just might end up on The List:

  1. For Baby Boy: Mini Boden flannel romper
  2. For Lena & Baby Boy: Little Sapling Toys building blocks
  3. For me: Bonlook glasses
  4. For Elliott: Mumford & Sons’ new album
  5. For Lena: Mini Boden knitted dress
  6. For all of us: books in general, this one specifically
  7. For me: pearl earrings
  8. For Baby Boy: Baby Bjorn bib
  9. For Lena: Salt Water Sandals
  10. For me: Fair Isle jumper

What’s on your Christmas wish list so far?

Cute, cute, cute! Love the Mini Boden dress! Thanks for stopping by my blog! You may need to add a baby doll on your daughter’s list… I bet she will want to play mommy when she sees you with your baby boy!! :) My girl’s love for all things baby developed right before she turned two. How long have you lived in Italy? My hubby and I lived in France and Luxembourg for two years!

We’ve been here for just over a year and have two more years to go. France and Luxembourg would be wonderful! I’ve visited Luxembourg twice, believe it or not, and love it.

A baby doll is on the list for just the reason you mentioned. :-) I haven’t found the perfect one yet, though, so that’s why it’s not on this list. I’m working on it!

Becca – #6 made me think of a few books you may enjoy in the same genre, they were much used here. Small Beginnings by Barbara Curtis (chalk full of make at home activities and how to encourage your little one to explore without turning the house upside down). Ready Set Read also by Curtis. (also good but second on the list) and Slow and Steady Get Me Ready by Oberlander. (One activity a week for the first five years, ends with learning to pack your own little case for an overnight to Grandma’s. Worth snatching up a used copy if you can.)

Books are on our list too!! Visited MA/VT for a wedding the same week as Jonathan & Erika’s. Soaked up real fall and family time. Thinking of you all this fall, wishing the miles weren’t quite so many and celebrating with you Elliot’s milestone achievement and sweet little boy’s anticipated introduction. Hugs to all.

Thanks for all these great recommendations, Allison. I need to keep coming back to you with questions about books, as I have never come across a mom with a library like yours. We miss you all!

I love that the nerdy chic look is in. I’m wanting some librarian glasses like that too.

My husband gave me pearl earrings last Christmas and I love them. I wear them everyday. So classic and pretty and at the same time not fussy.

P.S. I’m so excited you got a kitty!! I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to your family. :)
