WHY MAKING ROOM?

The title of this little blog came from a bookI love called Making Room: Recovering Hospitality as a Christian Tradition.  I chose this title for our blog for several reasons:

• We want to make our home (first in Italy, now in California) to be an open, welcoming place for visitors and friends.
• We want to share our everyday life with friends and family (hence creating the “room” of this blog).
• We want to create a habit of clearing out the superfluous things in our life to fill it with Christ (ie. conscientiously “making room” for Him).
